Business Context Before AI™

About Course

Business Context Before AI™ teaches learners how to prepare the factual, operational, customer, offer, policy, workflow, brand, and source information that AI systems need before they can support useful business work. The course addresses a core reality: AI cannot reliably understand a specific business from a vague instruction, scattered files, slogans, or assumptions. When the context is weak, the output may sound polished while being strategically irrelevant, factually wrong, unsafe, inconsistent, or difficult to review.

Across four modules and twenty-eight lessons, learners define the business identity and operating reality, clarify goals and audiences, document offers and constraints, establish sources of truth, create reusable context profiles, protect sensitive information, validate context quality, build task briefs and context-rich prompts, and apply context to marketing, customer service, operations, research, and team knowledge work. The final module turns those assets into a governed context library with ownership, access controls, versioning, drift detection, metrics, and an approved Business Context Before AI Standard™.

Every lesson includes detailed instruction, a business scenario, step-by-step method, edge cases, common mistakes, a context-quality checkpoint, a practical workbook activity, reflection questions, key takeaways, and a five-question quiz with answer explanations. The learner workbook provides twenty-eight editable tools plus a final standard canvas and 30-day implementation plan.

This course provides practical education and general business-governance guidance. It does not replace legal, privacy, cybersecurity, employment, accessibility, financial, regulatory, safety, or other qualified professional advice. Organizations should apply their own policies and obtain specialist review for consequential uses.
